Vice President Kashim Shettima on Thursday led governors elected on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), party chieftains, and key stakeholders to the official submission of the Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu ahead of the party’s presidential primaries.
The submission ceremony took place at the APC National Secretariat in Abuja and drew the presence of several senior members of the ruling party, including the lawmaker representing Ikeja Federal Constituency, Rt. Hon. James Abiodun Faleke, who was hailed by supporters as the party’s “Chief Orchestra.”
Also present at the event was the National Chairman of the APC, Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda Goshwe, who received the Vice President and members of his delegation.
The occasion turned into a strong demonstration of support for President Tinubu’s re-election ambition, with party stakeholders reaffirming their commitment to the APC and the administration’s Renewed Hope agenda.
Leaders at the gathering said the development signaled increasing unity within the ruling party as it intensifies preparations for the 2027 general elections.
They expressed confidence in the party’s ability to maintain political stability and continue delivering on its promises to Nigerians under the Tinubu administration.
