Nollywood star Regina Daniels has taken to social media with a bold message, signaling resilience despite recent controversy surrounding her marriage to Senator Ned Nwoko.

Sharing stunning new photos on Instagram, the actress wrote: “Even when the table turns, we go still dey chop for the table,” suggesting that no matter the situation, she remains on top of her game.

Daniels also reposted a video of herself aboard a private jet alongside her brother, Sammy West, and friends — marking her return to social media after days of silence.

Adding to the excitement, she revealed she has acquired a new home in Ikoyi, Lagos. Posting photos of the mansion, the mother of two said she wanted “a roof over her head,” leading her to secure a residence for herself and her family.

Her recent activities come on the heels of a whirlwind of allegations and counterclaims regarding her marriage. Last week, a viral video showed Regina in tears, alleging domestic abuse and claiming she is “not treated like a queen” in her husband’s home.

However, Nwoko publicly dismissed the claims, attributing the tension to what he described as her “struggle with drugs and alcohol abuse.” He further alleged that Regina had exhibited violent behaviour, assaulted domestic staff, and damaged property — accusations her family strongly refutes.

Sammy West, who appeared in the viral clip defending his sister, accused the lawmaker of physically assaulting her. He stated that while online critics might mock Regina, he would never tolerate violence against women.

Their elder brother, Sweezzy, also rejected Ned’s claims of substance abuse, insisting that no marriage is perfect but violence is unacceptable. Meanwhile, their younger sister, Destiny Daniels, shared photos of alleged injuries Regina sustained, denying rumours that the couple had reconciled.
