Omo Local opens up on how ex husband impregnated her friend; Sanyeri reflects on education and career journey

Yoruba Nollywood actress Victoria Akanke Ajibola, popularly known as Omo Local, has revealed a deeply painful chapter of her past marriage, confessing that she once attempted suicide after discovering her husband had impregnated her best friend.

In an emotional interview with Oyinmomo TV, Omo Local recounted the moment that shattered her trust and led to the eventual breakdown of her marriage.

She said the betrayal hit hardest while she was five months pregnant, only to find out that her close friend was carrying her husband’s child at three months.

“The trauma was so overwhelming that I took poison out of shame,” she admitted, describing the emotional devastation she endured.

Reflecting on her former friend, Omo Local added, “I don’t know where she is now. Maybe she’s still with my ex-husband—I’m not sure—but they had three children together after I left him.”

Meanwhile, veteran Nollywood actor Olaniyi Afonja, known as Sanyeri, shared insights into his personal journey during a chat on Behind The Fame.

He opened up about his early disregard for education, admitting that he once saw schooling as something parents forced on children rather than a pathway to a meaningful future.

Sanyeri revealed that his mindset has since shifted, and he now regrets not taking education seriously in his youth.

The actor has recently resumed his studies and is eagerly awaiting results, emphasizing that “education has no age limit” and that anyone can choose to continue learning at any stage of life.
