The management of Benue Investment and Property Company (BIPC) has conducted an inspection of the proposed site for a river water filtration system and sedimentation reservoir project aimed at improving water supply to its subsidiaries and surrounding communities in Makurdi, Benue State.

The inspection tour was led by the Group Managing Director of BIPC, Dr. Raymond Asemakaha, alongside other senior management staff.

According to him, the project is designed to address persistent water supply challenges affecting some of the company’s strategic business units.

Dr. Asemakaha explained that once completed, the treated water from the facility will serve key BIPC subsidiaries, including the brewery, BIPC Water, and Bensono Fruits, while also extending supply to residents of Makurdi and neighbouring communities.

He reaffirmed management’s commitment to ensuring the successful delivery of the project, noting that it would enhance productivity, strengthen operations, and improve efficiency across the company’s business portfolio.

The BIPC boss also commended the Governor of Benue State, Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia, for his continued support towards the growth and expansion of the company.

The proposed reservoir site is located opposite the BIPC brewery in Makurdi.
